One of the best poke in downtown Vancouver! When I want something filling, but not heavy, I come here. I show up at 11:45am to beat the afternoon hungry crowd.
I get the LIL GUY bowl with ahi tuna. What I love about Poke Guy is the wasabi mayo dressing and their crispy onions and jalapeño! I change up the base, but usually stick to 1/2 brown rice and 1/3 salad greens. Yum!
I wish I had a photo. I ate it too fast. -

Quick, healthy and tasty. The ingredients all tasted good. The staff was helpful in my constructing my poke bowl on my first visit. They were generous with the scoops. I'll definitely come here regularly.
It gets pretty busy at lunch time on weekdays.
There's a great vegan pudding stand right next door to make for the perfect take-away lunch. -

I live in Boston, and to be honest I've never had poke as good as this anywhere in the US. Too bad I don't live here...
I got the little guy bowl with Sockeye. The salmon, not surprisingly, was so fatty and delicious, it could almost melt in my mouth. That's good quality Pacific salmon for ya! I was also very impressed by everything else in the bowl. The wasabi lettuce was delicious - definitely try if you're a fan of wasabi. The edamame, the pineapple, imitation crab, and other toppings were amazing because each individual topping was well seasoned and fresh by itself, so that when they come together, they make explosions of flavor. I feel like many poke places rely on sauce to make the bowl flavorful, but the Poke Guy stands out because each individual ingredient is high quality - you can taste it!
Definitely recommend! I'll return next time I visit Vancouver. -

It was not too busy as I arrived just shortly after 12pm. The staff were friendly while waiting for me to choose my toppings and gave me good recommendations. I ordered 2 types of fish in their big bowl. I liked that you can choose 1 or 2 scoops of rice (white/brown) and fill the rest with salad. The big bowl lets you get unlimited toppings. I really enjoyed their 'crunchies' - crunchy fried garlic, onions, etc. It added a nice extra texture to it. Their wasabi sauce was tasty and decently strong. It was ~$20 for the bowl + drink, but then again I also got 2 types of fish. Would come back again!
